Hindi is the most common language in India and the second most spoken language in the world. It is native to some 100 million people, mainly living in North India. A major portion of the Indian population speaks Hindi despite being from different linguistic backgrounds. Besides, the History of the Hindi language shows its importance and significance for the citizens and officials alike.

In India, Hindi was considered a common language during the time of independence. In 1950, there were 16 languages identified as official languages by the constitution of India. However, later on, 14 more languages were included in the list-making it 22 official languages of the country India. Most speakers of Hindi live in one geographical area- The northwestern part of India. They constitute nearly 50% of the population which presides over an area covering 11 states, including Delhi and Uttar Pradesh etc.

The Chinese language I am interested is Suzhounese rather than Mandarin. I first heard Suzhounese in ilovelanguges and it sounded really comfortable and pleasant to the ears.

@hi ~ Btw I am actually Boro. I have ocassionlly seen, some words in Chinese match words in Bodo language. For example Māo(cat) in Chinese, Maozi(cat) in Bodo;Jiǔ(liquor) in Chinese, zou(alcohol) in Bodo; and there is also the numbers from 1 to 10.
