Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with 'dear friend'  and hailed deepening ties between Russia and China. The Russian President said that Russia would seek to strengthen military ties with China, with relations between the two countries at their 'best in history'. This was the first conversation between the two leaders, since their in-person meet in September.
