Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic thanked Russia, India, and China for their political support amid rising tensions with Kosovo. 'I am grateful to them all,' the Serbian president said, according to a report on TASS. This comes amid Western pressure on Serbia to de-escalate tensions with Kosovo, a breakaway territory that Belgrade does not officially recognize.

As a Indian living in Serbia, I can say that Serbian people have a deep respect for Indians. People are very friendly and when they know that I am Indian, they greet me with a NAMASTE in a very beautiful accent. When I arrived here for the first time, I was travelling by a bus. A girl came near and asked me if I was a Indian. I replied YES, and in just seconds, passengers were looking at me. They greeted me and asked me about my family, my house. An elderly man even gave his phone number and told me to call him if I get some difficulties here. Actually I am one the first Indian in Nis, Serbia. So, I back Indian government's decision regarding Serbia.
