After China's first Type 055 guided-missile destroyer Nanchang was commissioned in 2020, another five domestically built 10,000-tonne-class destroyers have entered service with the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy, namely the Lhasa, Dalian, Anshan, Wux, and Yan'an. The PLA Navy has achieved a leap from the third to the fourth generation of destroyers.

2020年，中国首艘055型导弹驱逐舰南昌舰服役后，又有5艘国产万吨级驱逐舰进入中国人民解放军海军服役之列，即拉萨舰、大连舰、鞍山舰、无锡舰和延安舰。解放军海军实现了从第三代驱逐舰到第四代驱逐舰的飞跃。

Type 055 is impressive but it is a legitimate debate as to which destroyers are better while opinions definitely vary. Especially from the Sino-Chinese led military alliance against their enemies in the West. Certainly the Type55 can stand up to the Americans. What seems ridiculous though are claims that the new Chinese aircraft carrier Fujian can be comparable to the American carriers when it is not even nuclear powered and has many other apparent deficiencies (depending on which source you choose)

@Isang Katotohanan u understand nuclear power is for traveling without refueling only right? Does not make the ship any better so your point is moot. US carriers need nuclear power coz they need to send their ships far from home, China has no such ambitions, just protecting their own territory from invading Americans. Also, at the pace they are building, a nuclear powered one will be ready before the Russian,Ukraine war ends, with probably more features than the Nimitz class....but which is more powerful can only be guessed as the weapon is only as powerful as the ones driving it.

@LogicRules actually China does have ambitions for global military per . The china clearly state that part of the development of the PLA is to protect China's overseas (Global) development interests. PLA Navy are also clearly in development of a true blue water navy.
