As of Tuesday, the China-Laos Railway had operated more than 20,000 passenger trains, with an average of 56 trains per day and seen a total of 10.3 million passenger trips.

截至1月31日,中老铁路累计开行超过2万列旅客列车,平均每天开行56列,累计发送旅客1030万人次

中老铁路开通以来,“复兴号”“澜沧号”动车组运行安全、绿色、快捷、舒适,大幅缩短了沿线城市间的交通时间,受到两国民众青睐,截至2023年1月31日,累计开行旅客列车2万列,发送旅客1030万人次。
