Air India seals record-breaking deal with Airbus, Boeing to buy 500 aircraft

A big aircraft purchase deal has been sealed by Tata Sons for Air India. Air India has ordered 500 aircraft for its fleet which will be delivered in over eight years. These include 400 single aisles—210 Airbus A320 neo family and 190 Boeing 737 Max and also there are 70 twin aisles—40 A350s, 20 B787s and 10 B777X. 250 Airbus and 220 Boeings will be worth a $150 billion deal. Tata Group also signed deals for engines' original equipment manufacturers for aircraft. Tatas are merging AirAsia India with Air India Express to create a big low-cost carrier (LCC). They are also merging Vistara into AI to create a big full-service carrier (FSC). The integrated AI aims to garner a 30% market share in the domestic and international markets.

not possible to manufacture aircrafts with our technology minimum 20 year it will take to develop an aircraft that to will be first gen. it is not worth the investment.
