BEIG: China warned the United States on Sunday it would "bear all the consequences" if it escalated the controversy over a Chinese balloon that the U.S. military shot down this month.

Beiing will "follow through to the end" in the event "the US insists on taking advantage of the issue", the foreign ministry said in a statement.

周日，中国警告美国，如果美国军方本月击落中国气球的争议升级，美国将“承担一切后果”。

外交部在一份声明中表示，如果“美国坚持利用这一问题”，中方将“坚持到底”。
