BEIG: China, a close Russian ally, on Friday called for a ceasefire to end the Ukraine war and open peace talks, even as it struck a nuanced stand of respecting Ukraine's sovereignty and Moscow's legitimate security concerns while expressing its firm opposition to the use of nuclear and biological weapons.

The Chinese peace paper is devoid of any specific action plan on how to stop and then settle the conflict. It talks about things that everyone else has reiterated as well - no nukes, cessation of hostilities, right to sovereignty, address security concerns, war does no good etc. Put specific action plan agreeable to both on the table so that both sides can work on which then leads to visible and measurable progress on the ground. Same do good language repeated by everyone else
