OK that’s an interesting question. Chinese men are just more than 1.70 m, about 1.72 m on average. I’m a Chinese student aged 20 I’m ONLY 1.77 m high, that’s not pretty outstanding in Chinese newest generations. For the middle-aged and the senior, 1.75 m is enough, but for the newest generations, if a student is 1.75 m he is neither not very tall but not very short. At least, if you are over 1.80 m in the newest generations, you are tall.

Chinese are not shorter than Indians infact they are taller and healthier than Indians on average. Infact it is not about ethnicity anymore, better lifestyle and healthy food (besides genes) are also main factor for growth of a human being.

1 - Most of Pakistan consists of Punjabis which happen to be one of the tallest groups in the subcontinent anyway.

2 - Another large Pakistani group are the Pashtoons/Pakhtuns from Northern Pakistan. They tend to be tall and strong due to their mountainous terrain.

Do Chinese love Indians?

I can’t speak for Chinese in general but for me personally, love is not the word I would use.

I USED to love Indians, I grew up in Brampton, a Canadian city populated by a lot of South East Asian immigrants. Had a lot of friends from Punjab, during the school festival they would dance Bhangra and share samosa with me. My best friend in high school is Indian.

At the time, the only negative thing I hear was from my parents who said Indians hates Chinese because of the war in 1962. It was an offhand remark and honestly I thought had nothing to do with me because it seemed so far away.

If I were to summarize my feelings on what current Indian narrative on the internet it would be this:

They want to prove they are better than Chinese.

I truly do wish Sino-Indian relationship would improve, but it doesn’t look like it’s on the horizon. Maybe one day I will love Indians again, if I stop finding Indian netizens insults on any news regarding China. But as of now, I say my feeling towards Indians is: Concerned with a hint of exhaustion.
