It's so widespread, deeply rooted & so socially normalized/encouraged from top to bottom, inside and out etc that Chinese people don't even think twice about it. There is racism everywhere but to answer your question yes there is racism towards black people in China however it is quite a small minority of people. Everyone mostly cbf dealing with anyone else business in China, if you ain’t a friend with a racist you won’t be dealing with racism. That depends. TBH the racism against black people is very common in China, except places like Beiing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen. But there is one way to avoid racism which is expressing your love for Chinese food and Chinese culture to every Chinese you come across with. Also people with a educated background is very unlikely to be racist. Young people who are into NBA, hip-hop and rap are very friendly to black people from US.

Chinese having bias against black people is just because lots of black people in China are stowaways without citizenship of China and they don't have a formal job with low level of morality. The vast majority of Chinese just vent dissatisfaction to this crowd on the internet without actual behavior of exlusivism.
