New nuclear power unit starts operation in China's Guangx

A new nuclear power unit using Hualong One, a domestically designed third-generation nuclear reactor, was put into operation in south China's Guangx on Saturday, paving the way for commercial operation.

周六，一台使用国产第三代核反应堆华龙一号的新核电机组在中国南部的广西开始投产发电，正式具备了商业运行条件。

3月25日，随着168小时试运行试验圆满完成，中国西部地区首台“华龙一号”核电机组——中国广核集团广西防城港核电站3号机组正式具备商业运行条件。随着该机组的投产发电，中广核在运核电机组达到27台，在运装机容量超过3056万千瓦
