India's GDP growth has outpaced China's growth for the past few years. Its population has surpassed China's, and it is now the world's most populous country. As the global supply chains move from China to India, does India have a chance to overtake China as the second-largest economy?

India has a proper economy and government, unlike China. India does not antagonise other countries and the markets for its exports and imports. The Indian school system is the same English schools and allow students to question their teachers and what they being told.

I am in India 3 months a year and have visited China twice. There was a big difference between my 2007 China visit and 2020 visit (just before Covid) as you could tell things had peaked and the energy and euphoria was no longer there. In terms of infrastructure India will probably never get to Chinese levels but Indian growth in general is more balanced and ironically more socialist with various schemes for poor and rural people and more sustainable.
