India stood up to China’s LAC adventurism, ‘delegitimised’ Pakistan terror: EAM S Jaishankar

印度外长苏杰生：印度对抗中国在实控线的冒险主义

NEW DELHI: Nine years of the Modi government have seen India turning into a secure, self-assured and an economically more powerful nation, foreign minister S Jaishankar said Thursday as he listed India’s resistance to China’s LAC adventurism and how it ``delegitimised’’ Pakistan-sponsored terrorism among significant foreign policy achievements of the government.

While reiterating India’s position that the border standoff will continue to impact Sino-Indian ties, Jaishankar also said there was no communication breakdown between the 2 countries and that it’s in the interest of Beiing too that the issue of ``forward deployment’’ is resolved soon. He said most of the reports highlighting Chinese military build-up were about activities on China’s side of the LAC and that the real issue was of forward deployment and not land grab.

新德里：印度外交部长苏杰生周四表示，在莫迪政府的九年里，印度已经成为一个安全、自信和经济更强大的国家。他将印度对抗中国在实控线的冒险主义，以及它如何“剥夺”巴基斯坦支持的恐怖主义的合法性，列为印度政府的重大外交政策成就之一。

苏杰生重申了印度的立场，即边境对峙将继续影响中印关系，但他也表示，两国之间没有中断沟通，尽快解决“前沿部署”问题也符合北京的利益。他说，大多数强调中国军事集结的报道都是关于中国在己方一侧的活动，真正的问题是前沿部署。

The India-China border has been quiet for over 50 years. During all that time India defined its own versions of the LAC, accused China of thousands transgressions every year. After scrap Article 370 in IOK by force, Modi became reckless and utmost stupid. In 2019 he showed a map of the new Ladakh Union Territory that intrude into both Nepal and China. When Nepal complained about India occupy its territory, India told it to shut up and called Nepal map illegal bcoz only Indian maps are LEGAL. Then India boasted new roads, bridges, airfields to the border area and Modi ordered Indian troops to alter the LCA by force. To the dismay of Indians, China reacted quickly to stop India aggression, which led to the standoff. Since then India has been crying as a poor loser. This Indian EAM dare not to speak truth, only spreading lies.
