Nobody is saying China is more advanced and wealthier than US, except maybe for a few who don’t believe it themselves. China’s per capita GDP is 1/6 that of US’.

China has had some phenomenal growth. Let’s give them credit for that and it is a good thing. They are now also setting aside some resources to help other countries with their Belt-Road (B&R) initiative. That is also a good thing. What I don’t understand is why the West is so dead set against the B&R. The Chinese are a very hard working and dynamic people. Even Pompeo said it. Would the West rather have the Chinese to put all their energy into weapons? This is what they would do if they cannot spend their energy otherwise.
