Chandrayaan-3 enters lunar orbit, next burn scheduled today

In a big milestone for Isro, India’s third lunarcraft Chandrayaan-3 entered the lunar orbit on Saturday after esca the Earth’s gravity and covering a distance of 384,400 km. “MOX, ISTRAC, this is Chandrayaan 3.

It is scientifically incorrect to say that Chandrayan has escaped earth's gravity. Gravity is always there which is why the moon is also orbiting the Earth.
