External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar expressed confidence that the UN Security Council's much-awaited expansion will see the light of day. Speaking at an event at Delhi University, Jaishankar said India is the world's fifth-largest economy and should get a place at the UNSC. He also took an indirect dig at China, saying, "Forces that block will keep on trying." Remember, China is the only permanent UNSC member that blocks India's entry into the UNSC.
