What people don’t understand about Chinese cars being so cheap is that China is able to source all its raw materials and components at home. China is the biggest battery manufacturer in the world and it doesn’t need other countries for manufacturing. Quite the opposite any country needs china way more for their own manufacturing capabilities and logistics than China needs them. Also Evs in China get subsidies, the fact that there is so much competition also makes the price lower and manufacturers are willing to make less profit with each car but sell higher quantities. These cars are much more expensive outside of China
