Nah, be fair, you can’t compare everyone the same, yes there are many brilliant Chinese, but there are plenty of brilliant people elsewhere as well, but overall? I guess most Chinese are better educated than most. Like I keep saying even here in Australia when I was going to school every class I was in that had the odd Chinese kid, they were alway near the top of the class, but I think it had more to do with attitude than intelligence, for when we were playing, they were still studying. I guess it helps to have Chinese parents that want their kids to be the best they can, mine mostly left me to myself, which was just the way I liked it.

Chinese system of education are nurturing nerds. Some school in mainland china get home as late as 9 pm, And I also watch a vlog of University pretty girl study preparing exam in the university study hall until 3 am in the morning, then she sleep wake up at 6 am continue studying. During my life i never seen a study culture like this in my life, i see it on mainland chinese student. Even in taiwan i have not seen this phenomenon.

Before this i think that mass media controlled like in mainland China is a bad thing. Lately i have another opinion. Even though mass media controlled has made the entertainment dull, however the popular entertainment in china has other aspect that South Korea or US entertainment media does not has, Education part.

On news section, the control of news has a very good effect on building harmony of society. For example the suppress terrorists attack news is to prevent terrorist attack spreading. It is not like government blinded the masses, the news on terrorist attack can be released after the problem solved.

I live in China and know many intelligent Chinese people, none of whom think that being Chinese makes them in any way superior to anyone else. Those who do stupid stuff and go backwards followed western type of political system. This system is proven to elect idiots, incubate extremists and manipulated by greedy capitalists. So how can they not go backwards with all these demons in their government?!
