Will Indian toilets ever switch to toilet papers? Westerners believe that tissues are hygienic, and Indians think otherwise. Will it eventually change?

Well bidets were famous in Roman era and now more and more people are installing bidets on their toilets all over the world, check Amazon, easy to install, they are hand free and most hygienic

Having visited India a few years ago the luxury hotels actually do have toilet paper in all the bathrooms and it wouldn’t surprise me if corporate offices did too. Toilet paper on its own isn’t particularly hygienic and neither is it pleasant to carry around a water bottle or pick up a hose that was sitting on a bathroom floor. What I can see happening in the future is more public restrooms having both toilet paper and bidets.

Southern Europeans and South Americans all have always used bidets at home, either with a seat or handheld ones. In every single home. (Bidets have been very gradually spreading in the much-dumber US and North Europe as well.)
But seriously, who cares what other people think about one’s intimate habits.
Paper is unhygienic and chafing.

The idea of using soap had already become a common practice in the royal courts by the Mughal Age during the mid 1500s. By the 1600s formulations had come about using vegetable based oils as well.
There are many Indians I know who simply will copy anything the West does whether it be right or wrong. The issue of using toilet paper instead of soap and water never made sense to me. After all if you fecal matter comes in contact with your hand, would you use toilet paper to clean your hand, it would not be clean in fact it would still smell horrible.
In Ancient India, various cleaning elements were used. Ashes and herbs were used with water to clean and remove impurities from the skin. By the Middle Ages these combinations had become quite complex. The introduction of soap in small quantities came with the Mughal Empire begng in the mid 1500s, and by the later Mughal Era the use of essentially modern soap was documented to have been used along with rose water to ensure that they were clean. The use of soap in India would spread, and the mass manufacture of soap came with the colonial period. Sabun, the word most often used actually entered Hindi vocabulary from Persian. The fact that Persian soap relied on animal fat to be made, created a barrier for its mass use by the total population of India. This would change as vegetable based soaps were created. Soon various vegetable based oils were being used to formulate soap. The colonial period would see the mass production of vegetable based soap, and India became one of the largest markets in the world for soap.
Indian toilets generally have sprayers attached, and traditionally a person cannot enter the kitchen unless they have bathed. All this was to prevent the spread of germs, though when these practices began, the germ theory was not yet written. It is highly doubtful that Indians in any measure will change from the convention of using water and soap to clean up after using the toilet.

A study in the US reveals the most shocking information that the faecal matter particles contained in the US air is the highest in the world! One of my friends who visited the famous Manhattan Square told me that she could smell urine in the air that she breathed there!
Toilet tissue paper is definitely not a hygienic way of cleaning the faecal matter as it cannot reach all the folds of the ext way. Then why is it chosen?
Westerners use tissue paper not for its cleaning efficiency but because it costs money to shit every time! They are keen on making money out of everything! For fitness you can just walk; but that doesn't cost you money! So, the Americans sell machines to walk on! They sell fitness through gyms. For Indian way of eating, you just use your hands, no cost involved! Americans make you buy spoons and cutlery for doing the same thing! That costs money!
Some Indians who just ape the west in everything, have already opted for the western toilet instead of the natural Indian toilet which helps you fold the legs as well as evacuation in a natural posture . Now,those people may go for the toilet paper as a statement of style .
The risk associated with the discontinuance of Indian toilet may show up eventually by way of orthopedic problems, residual faecal matter always remaining in the colon etc. It may be observed that the incidence of colon cancer, digestive problems in the West is higher than in India.

If a restaurant serves you the same spoon I used for eating after just wi it with a napkin, would you be agreeable it?
if not then you have proved my point. Your arsehole could not be cleaner than a mouth. Mouth to mouth kiss is romantic and well-allowed but doctors still give you enema if they have to examine your butt. Ask your doctor if you can just stuff your ass with napkins.
Some people just do not change. Some will change slowly. And some people just do not have water!!
seriously to make one roll of toilet paper, they use up-to five gallons of water.

Until water is cheaper than tissue paper Indians use water to wash their dirty bottom.
But some westernized Indians use tissue paper because they feel whatever of west is fashion.

I am an India. I live in the Bay Area. My house is 3 million dollars. My toilets are 7 stars. They have bidet. They spurt hot water jets up my ass. Jet cleans my butt real good. When I press button.
In other words Indians don’t switch to toilet paper. Because washing is better than wi.

Never !!! The Thais too agree with us in this matter.I actually found this stuck in the toilet of a Resteraunt .Giggled and took a pic
And it wonderfully conveys my sentiments with no skid marks ,if you know what i mean .
Indians however don't use TP we normally wash our hands throughly with soap and sanitizers ,cause wait for it !!! We got water !!
Westerners are free to believe what they like and their thoughts need not match ours ,we got our own way of doing things .( nothing Superior about it ,it’s just how we roll )
Not just Bhartiyas , Vietnamese , Pakistanis , Bangladeshis,Indonesian,Malaysians ,Chinese vouch for this practical and hygenic technic .
Now don't talk crap and say “You got no toilets “ ,”You street shitters “ ,”You got no water “ blah blah. Cause i seen a woman in Birmingham drunk as skunk take a shit in the middle of the road, even seen a homeless guy in Seattle take a dump in a bucket right outside a coffee shop. I lived in an air bnb while attending my cousins wedding in Washington fancy lil cottage with the worst plumbing where if your taking a shower you do not flush the toilet else the water from the drain enters the shower cubicle.

It is difficult to predict whether Indian toilets will ever switch to toilet paper. Many Indians believe that water is more hygienic than toilet paper, and this is unlikely to change in the near future. However, as more Indians travel to Western countries, they may become more open to the idea of using toilet paper. In addition, as India’s economy continues to grow, more people may be able to afford toilet paper, which could lead to more people using it. Ultimately, only time will tell if Indian toilets will ever switch to toilet paper.

It is possible that Indian toilets may eventually switch to toilet paper, but it is not likely to happen in the near future. There are a variety of reasons why Indians may not be as inclined to switch to toilet paper, such as cultural beliefs, affordability, and availability. Ultimately, the decision to switch to toilet paper or not is up to the individual and their personal preferences.

How can anyone even think paper is hygienic over water??
Think, replace everything you do with water with tissues.
(Washing your mouth, with wi with tissues)
(Cleaning utensils with water, with wi with tissue)
List is endless.
No, it won't and shouldn't change.
