The state-owned oil giant PetroChina said on Saturday its branch Changqing Oilfield has discovered a large-scale, well-preserved oilfield with geological reserves of over 100 million tons in northwest China's Gansu Province.

国有石油巨头中石油周六表示，其分公司长庆油田在中国西北部甘肃省发现了一个大型、保存完好的油田，地质储量超过1亿吨。

中国石油天然气股份有限公司长庆油田分公司，经过两年多时间的勘探攻坚，长庆油田在甘肃省庆阳市环县洪德地区发现地质储量超亿吨级整装大油田。

100 million tons is about 700 million barrels. And the world consumes about 100 million barrels every day. China alone uses about 14 MM barreks per day. So, the field would be gone in 50 days. Likely not even worth the costs of bringing it into production.
