Amid South China Sea Tensions, India's warship Docks in The Philippines

As Philippine faces maritime threats from China, India's INS Kadmatt has docked at Manila.

The warship is in the region for a two-day "goodwill visit".

India's envoy to Manila has called this an effort to build a "strong navy and maritime engagement".

India is also conducting military drills with Vietnam.

The Philippines,however smaller compared to the giant bully,china, can run out of patience and "bites back like a cornered kitten".The presence of like-minded allies like India in the West Philippine Sea certainly is a deterrent factor for china.

India n Philippines are large de ocracies. Both uses English for commerce. So trade n cultural exchange must increase. Tourism potential is very high on both sides. Bajaj, Tata n Reliance should start business activities in large scale. Help Philippines Armed Forces.

Not clear that India should be doing this, as it does not have a big enough stick to hit back at China if it becomes necessary. The risk for major humiliation is high, and the benefits are not sufficient.

Thanks India! 80's ive seen Indian hardware products in the Philippine markets, that time thier products preffered next to japan products than chinese products, chinese made are crappy substandard even their war machine marked as civilian qualities "sub standard practice" chinese likes quantity not quality...
