Boeing delivers first plane to Chinese airline since 2019

The first Boeing plane delivered to Juneyao Airlines, a Chinese airline, since 2019 landed in Shanghai. The 787 Dreamliner plane departed from Everett, Washington and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Boeing has considered China a crucial growth market, but deliveries were halted due to the grounding of the 737 MAX. China was among the first countries to ground the plane after two fatal accidents. Boeing executives have suggested that diplomatic tensions and reduced demand due to the pandemic contributed to the pause on deliveries.

SHANGHAI: The first Boeing plane delivered to a Chinese airline since 2019 landed in Shanghai on Friday, according to tracking site flightradar24.

Boeing said on Thursday that the 787 Dreamliner plane was being delivered to Juneyao Airlines.

The jet departed from Everett, Washington, and landed at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 4:25 pm local time (0825 GMT), data from flightradar24 showed.

I disagree. Boeing is superior. But that doesn't mean Airbus is bad. Both are good. But the perticular a320 family isn't as good as the 73h family. Performance, operating cost efficiency is better of the MAX compared to the NEO.

China isn't aiming international sales of the C919, it could save a lot of money for its domestic airlines by reducing imports.
