Powerful countries like US,China and Russia do whatever they want.
Ever since the Iraq war United Nations has been exposed to be a toothless organisation.
UN should have be disbanded long time ago.
But the same countries like US, China, and Russia or even Europeans will never allow UN to be disbanded because under the guise of UN they can do things with impunity and get away with it, while kee the facade of a "United" "Nations" and each play thier game of Political football.
