NEW DELHI: The third meeting between Union ministers and farmer leaders in Chandigarh ended without any agreement, leading to the scheduling of another round of talks on Sunday.

新德里消息：联邦部长和农民领袖在昌迪加尔举行的第三次会议没有达成任何协议，因此定于星日举行下一轮会谈。

Describing the meeting "positive", Union minister Arjun Munda said, "Today, a very positive discussion happened between the government and the farmers' unions."

"Focusing on the topics highlighted by the farmers' union, we have decided that the next meeting will take place on Sunday at 6pm", he added.

The meeting lasted for around five hours and included Union ministers Piyush Goyal, Arjun Munda, and minister of state for home affairs, Nityanand Rai, as representatives of the central government. Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann was also present.

The protesting farmers have presented 12 demands to the central government, including the enactment of a law ensuring MSP for all crops, a complete debt waiver, and a pension scheme for farmers and farm laborers.

These are farmers, not criminals. Their children have been fighting past wars and continue to protect our borders. These same farmers will stand for India when the time comes. Dont we owe them this much at least?

Are tax payers criminals? That they should continue to be taxed more and more to fund these so called farmers. Also, what would you call someone who disrupts life of an entire city and dig up roads so people cant go to work and city cant operate? Is that not criminal? If not, perhaps everyone in country should start blocking roads for everything.

Now a days it is becoming a habit of some section of people to block rail, road and disrupt the daily life and create a chaos to put forward their demands however illogical they are.,Being a de ocratic Government strict action can not be taken. Otherwise shoot at sight order should be issued in case of creating disruption of national life. Many more citizens suffer than the so called agitators due to such disruption.
