I can confidently speak about my first 20-something years in India. I was fortunate enough to attend D.A.V. H/S School in Chandigarh, the best school in our region of Punjab/India.

After observing my kids attend Canadian schools, I realized that my education in India was far superior to what is offered in Canadian public schools. I even assisted one of my kids with homeschooling(after-school teaching), and he completed high school about three years ahead of his peers. If the kid gets into one super school in India and is focused, teachers will not let down the kid. That was the mindset of our teachers at that time.

It was relatively easy for me to do another MSc in Canada; my Math, Statistics, and chemistry basics were rock solid. When I showed my curriculum to a Canadian professor, he gave me a test because the University of Guelph thought I should also take a statistics course. Two days later, the professor returned and asked me: Never mind taking a Statistics course, will you be my teaching assistant? My statistics professor in India prepared me far above minimum standards.

From my experience, Indian school education was far better, particularly in mathematics, which forms a strong foundation for science subjects. Additionally, Indian spirituality is unparalleled and teaches values such as discipline, respect for parents and teachers, and managing life's ups and downs.

During my time, dressing modestly and practicing personal hygiene were crucial lessons taught in schools. Additionally, movies play a vital role in sha our values. Almost all movies had a strong message and were highly motivational. Some movies even helped turn my life around.

In the West, when I came, I explained to my Western friends/acquaintances/classmates. Some still remember and still say thanks for clarifying. I still believe in our beautiful ultimate marriage system, where every family member makes a super effort to have a happy life and union.

Basic Internet: I live in Munich Germany and getting basic internet connection is a painful experinece I wouldnt want that for my enemy. We have connection with Mnet

We had to book an appointment 1 month prior to shift our internet and still we got a appointment for connection 3 days later we shifted.

before our internet was glass fiber now we have to use DSL and on top of that we cant ext this connection because they forced us to sign an contract for 2 year for such a poor service. And this is in Munich the most overrated city in whole of Germany.

If you dont know Mnet is like BSNL of India but its much worst than BSNL.

Basic Healthcare: Finding doctor appointment in germany is a whole different mission. YOu need to book appointment 2–3 week prior sometimes months prior. And you can only visit doctor you are registered with and if you decide to change your doctor and come back you will be put in long waiting line again. There is no such thing as instant health care. In Idnia you can. visit any doctor and there are tons of them to choose from anytime.

Many time I get sick or get some injury and by the time I get an appointment I get fit makes me wonder how shitty the helath care in EU is.

Mobile signals and data: within the metro city in USA, it’s hard to get Mobile signals iand data plans are costly whereas in India anywhere you will get Mobile signals and data plans are per day 5 to 10gb, wheee as here monthly I will get 5gb.

Digital currency, online transfer etc: very quick and faster, within or outside the bank or stores in India, but in USA if you give cheque or transfer from external account, its takes 2 to 3 days to show in your account.

Servants: In India easy to get maids for house corus work but in other countries it’s costlier have to pay 1 to 3 lacs rupees in each month based on hours of work.
