The fact is today’s China is a force to reckon with. But -

1. China should be afraid of tomorrow’s situation. In the future - just because of rapidly decreasing demographics, China will be in seriously trouble.

2. China is a net exporter of manufactured goods. It’s relationship with its major customer currently is strained. It is like trying to run a business in a community - where your major customers don’t want to buy from you anymore and actively looking for another shop.

3. China is a net importer of raw materials and energy- in future China needs to change this or they will be seriously dependent on the same un happy customers as many of them are also supplier of China’s raw material and energy.

In the end - China is not looking at a future that will be as rosy as the past few decades.
