External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar heavily criticised India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, saying one needs to get out of a cult worship that the Nehru era was great. “You got Pakistan wrong, you got China wrong, you got US right, and we had a great foreign policy. So, put that aside,” Jaishankar said at the News19 Bharat Rising Summit. Jaishankar lauded PM Modi’s foreign policy, saying “Modi ki guarantee” works both at home and abroad.
