hyper-competitive community that wants to one up against each other in the race for marks, money and positions of authority. They lack a sense of fraternity and are extremely tribal, with most people unable to socialize beyond their castes even in a diverse setting. Constantly looking for ways to harm each other and play zero-sum games to feel superior but grovel in front of north Indians and white people. Their movies, politics and public life are dominated by caste preferences. They size each other up according to where they live, who they know, how much money they have and even the schools they studied in.

Will do anything to get to the USA, even there they will find ways of hurting each other. A totally joyless and miserable community that lacks the joie de vivre of Punjabis, the relative sophistication of Bengalis, the cultural pride of Maharashtrians or even the understated nature of Tamilians. Life is a series of conflicts that they need to win through money and/or power. The only place you can find them together is at a temple, even there they are competing for god’s blessings.

Back in the 60s some of my classmates in school and colleges in Chennai were Telugus. They were obsessed with Ghantasala who lived in TNagar in Chennai. In fact most Telugus lived there.

Nice and friendly people. Telugu is a sweet language but I was told Chennai Telugu is quite different from AP Telugu.

Back then and even now Telugus have always got along well with Tamilians. They can be great friends.

Could be true.

But Tamils are not as manipulative as Gultis.

Gultis are number 1 in manipulating situations to their selfish advantages.

Telugus will spread fake rumours about you. They will tell 1000 lies and made up stories.

Never seen a Tamil or a Keralaite do that .tamils just outright avoid you or do their argument s. Keralaites have an ego. Kannadigas are stubborn in their discipline. Telugus are another sector — manipulative and lying to the core .

Keralaites are better. Tamils are far far amazing.

Trust me when I say this.
