The fuin is more comparable to the older uss kitty hawk class of aircraft carrier that it is to the gerald r ford class. It is also worth mentioning that china is still yet to deploy any modern carrier based aircraft with its most modern carrier based aircraft being the j-15 ( the Chinese built copy of the Soviet su-33) which is more suited as ground based multi role interceptor than it is a carrier based fighter due to its immense size and weight
