China takes measures against 12 U.S. military-linked firms

BEIG (Reuters) - China said on Wednesday it had taken measures against 12 companies involved in the U.S. military-industrial complex and their senior executives, in response to the U.S. arming of Taiwan and sanctions on Chinese companies.

The U.S. companies included units of Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and General Dynamics, China's Foreign Ministry said.

北京(路透社)—中国周三表示，已对12家涉及美国军工界的企业及其高管采取措施，以此回应美国为台湾提供武器供应及对中国企业实施制裁。

中国外交部表示，这些美国企业包括洛克希德·马丁公司、雷神公司和通用动力公司。

The measures, which include freezing assets in China and banning senior executives from entering the country, took effect from Wednesday, it added.

China said the U.S. had "ignored its objective and impartial position in the Ukrainian crisis", and had instead "engaged in unilateral bullying and economic coercion".

声明补充说，中国此次采取的措施包括冻结这些企业的在华资产、禁止高管入境中国，该措施自周三起生效。

中国表示，美国“无视其在乌克兰危机中的客观公正立场”，进行“单方面欺凌和经济胁迫”。

The message is clear. It is time for American companies to leave China and to stop outsourcing their manufacturing to China, or risk finding themselves on a sanctions list and having their personal and company assets seized.

China sells so much and buys so little from  the US, making trade so imbalance, China is so dependent on the companies they are trying to sanction for stolen military technology. China has so much to steal and almost nothing to give the US, making their sanctions a shot in the foot.
