today I'm here to clear the air and let everyone know why I'm living in China and not the states

No. 1 safety

as a mom this is the most important thing to me

I would do anything to protect my kids and make sure that they were safe

my hometown is very dangerous

the murder rate is really high

there are thieves everywhere and I don't feel safe even walking down the street at night

it's just kind of terrifying

China is really really safe but why is that

@cooliipie  And the British Empire helped the Americans to do it. But we stagnate and the Chinese have built on top of what we created in the past and are now 20 yrs ahead.

I watched a YouTube Video of an Indian travelling around injiang, in Kashi/ Kashgar if I'm not mistaken. He hailed down a tax AT NIGHT to take him back to his hotel.

The ULTIMATE SHOCKER was that the Tax Driver was a WOMAN! If I had a weak heart, I would have a heart attack!!!

最令我震惊的是出租车司机居然是个女人！如果我心脏不好，我当时绝对会心脏病发作的！！

In my Wildest Imagination, I simply couldn't even imagine that -- a LADY DRIVING A TA AT NIGHT.

And till this day -- many months since I watched the video -- I just simply couldn't get the video scene/ the image out of my mind.

Completely agree with your points. I would also add that the Chinese society are taught to respect others so this also helps with reducing crime/increasing safety

You missed the most important point when you mentioned about safety and almost crime free environment…. Chinese are brought up to respect each other and their properties.. it’s in the Culture and Education..

当你提到社会安全和犯罪低发的环境时，你漏掉了最重要的一点，中国人从小就被教育，要尊重别人和别人的财物。这已经融入中国文化和中国教育的精髓了。

@topsuperseven7910  if u r not living outside China, u take everything for granted in china. Having been living in the west for over 10 years,  i realize that the most commom things u take for granted are so valuable.

@mindywindy8755  What are some of those most common things? Like being able to access youtube and 90% of the worlds information (including all of PRC China's news) and then not being able to do that when you're inside PRC China?

Thanks for sharing. It is too late for me as a 71 year old man to move to China now. But I would grab all possible chances to visit China for many good, beautiful and wonderful reasons. Looking forward to see more videos from you.

I'm in my late 40's and it's too late for me too. I can't work or travel, and my health only gets worse. The only thing left to do is survive until I don't.

Still young at 71 if you are physically fit. I am an overseas Chinese senior citizen and I regretted not learning Mandarin or Chinese language during my younger days.

Never too late if you still have the will. I am planning moving to China in the very near future and I am 67.
