Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in an exclusive conversation with IANS, highlighted the pivotal role of India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in mitigating the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. He pointed out that while many affluent nations struggled to disburse funds to their populace, India’s UPI system facilitated seamless financial transactions during the crisis.

印度总理纳伦德拉·莫迪在与IANS的独家对话中强调了印度统一支付接口(UPI)在缓解新冠疫情带来的挑战方面发挥的关键作用。他指出，当许多富裕国家难以向民众发放资金时，印度的UPI系统在危机期间促成了无缝金融交易。

Modi posed a question about India’s ability to combat Covid-19 without UPI, emphasizing that even countries with ample resources failed to provide financial support to their citizens as effectively as India did.

莫迪对印度在没有UPI的情况下抗击新冠疫情的能力提出了质疑，并强调即使是资源充足的国家也无法像印度那样有效地向本国公民提供财政支持。

He stated that UPI’s efficiency allows for the transfer of funds to 11 crore farmers in a mere 30 seconds, attributing this success to the country’s innovative youth who have developed accessible, high-quality products.

他表示，UPI的效率允许在短短30秒内将资金转移给1.1亿农民，莫迪将这一成功归功于有创新能力的年轻人，他们开发了高质量产品。

Further, PM Modi recalled the decision to reduce internet data prices during the 2020 and 2021 lockdowns, a move driven by his concern for the younger generation, particularly those who were teenagers during the pandemic. The aim was to prevent the confinement from stifling their development and instead encourage them to explore the digital world.

此外，莫迪总理回顾了在2020年和2021年封锁期间降低互联网流量价格的决定，这一举动是出于他对年轻一代的担忧，特别是疫情期间对青少年的担忧。这样做的目的是防止这种限制扼杀他们的发展，鼓励他们探索数字世界。

Guys be realistic. UPI was launched in India on 11-April-2016. So how few of you say that it was launched in congress era. I know that our memory is short term. But it should not be so short term that you fogot Modi ji became PM in 2014 means 2 years before UPI was launched. Hate should not make us IDIOT

PayTM was created by BJP, not UPI. UPI exsted before that. PayTM would have paid good sum in electoral bonds for having PMs face on its ads.
