No unfortunately. China lucked out with cheap labor when it was valuable, now with automation and robots, having a lot of hands is useless. Also China doesn’t have the Caste, religious and language problems India is plagued with.

What makes china a success does not mean it can be applicable for India, but i feel india is done in by its bureaucracy, protectionist laws, lack of robust educational approach for its people, caste system, and most importantly disconnect between federal government and local governments
