Is the BRICS challenging the dominance of the G7? This week, Foreign Ministers of BRICS nations met in Russia. They criticised Israel for its war in Gaza. A joint statement from the bloc also slammed protectionism within global supply chains and called for reforms at the World Trade Organisation. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are BRICS members. Last year, the bloc added five new members. Will the rise of BRICS shrink the influence of the G7?

Condolences to the families of the workers killed in the Kuwait fire. As an engineer with safety responsibilities it pains me when companies undoubtedly take shortcuts in safety and then workers are injured or die. Very sad.

I urge the Indian authorities to demand a thorough investigation and to advocate for improved safety and well-being for all their international workers.

All develo countries should learn from this and work to prevent such tragedies in the future.

India has to build a nation sustainable for every citizens so that no Indian have to move to other countries in seach of jobs and better life. Even though many has died due to dangerous living conditions with no safety measures many Indians might have already applied to replace those who died.

The Indian govt should focus on jobs creation and infrastructures development in the country instead of beating around the bushes like talking about yoga, building temples in the middle East, Bollywood etc.. India has to do serious introspection and take a cue from China to build a sustainable India
