COMAC is a Chinese manufacturer of passenger aircraft, and its flagship plane is the C919, a rival to Boeing's 737 and the Airbus 320.
China has ambitions for COMAC to be globally competitive in the industry, and feels optimistic that the C919 will grab large market share in the fastest-growing markets in the develo world, and naturally inside China itself.
But recent problems at Boeing and Airbus are causing industrywide issues in availability for aircraft, parts, and even skilled technicians and mechanics. COMAC's growth plans will accelerate, and result in the same domination in aerospace that similar Chinese firms now enjoy in high-speed rail, ship and maritime industries, and cars.

COMAC has already lined up its series, C919, C929, and C939. It has already lined up its engines also, CJ1000, CJ2000, and CJ3000 with variants for each model, same as Boeing and Airbus. The C919 already has a backlog of 1400 orders, C929 is manufacturing the development model for flight, and C939 is on the drawing boards for design. Competition is good thing. Airbus almost didn't survive if they didn't get the big order from China in 2000s. That was when Airbus to set up the only assembly line outside Europe. That was a win win. The airline market is big enough for all of them. China will overtake US as the biggest air passenger market. If Europe continues to follow US geopolitics, Europe will be left behind once China is able to ramp up production of planes.

Boeing has lost its reputation and its not coming back for a very long time even if they manage to fix the issues. They can't blame it on a certain model and even more damaging, they can't blame the pilots.

Also Russia is working hard on replacing West Aircrafts. SuperJet and MC-21 independent from western spairparts are almost ready. Engines are the hardest part for China and Russia but they are also progressing well, should be done in a couple of years.
