NAWADA: In an unusual turn of events, a railway employee in Nawada's Rajauli found himself in a life-and-death struggle with a snake, resulting in a bizarre outcome where the snake ended up dead.

纳瓦达：纳瓦达Rajauli的一名铁路员工与一条蛇进行了生死搏斗，结果离奇，大反转，蛇死了。

Santosh Lohar (35), part of a team laying railway tracks in Rajauli's dense forest, was bitten by a snake while settling down for sleep after dinner on Tuesday night.

35岁的桑托什·是一名铁路工人，在拉久里茂密的森林中铺设铁轨，周二晚上，晚饭后他准备睡觉时被一条蛇咬伤。

Reacting swiftly, Lohar managed to seize the snake and bit it twice in retaliation, a practice he believed would reverse the venom's effect as per local folklore.

Miraculously, Lohar survived the ordeal. Colleagues rushed him to Rajauli subdivision hospital, where Dr Satish Chandra Sinha treated him promptly.

Dr Sinha confirmed that Lohar responded well to treatment and was discharged the following morning.
