My point is that China (thru BRI) has untenable investments on which it has to take the so-called haircuts, loan rollovers, loan payment rescheduling etc. Every leader comes to China, (fake) praises it, then China gives a loan to it, with no due diligence done on viability.

India do need to reform its labour and land laws, to improve that.
Of course going to the Chinese level is neither possible nor advised. One cannot put village after village in camps, to clear the land, but reforms are must indeed.
