China's domestically developed large twin-engine unmanned transport aircraft completed its maiden test flight on Sunday morning at Lantian Airport in Zigong City in the southwestern province of Sichuan

Just as expected, the future commercial aviation will be pilotless. This self flying large aircraft with two engines has undergone a 20 minutes flying test successfully. Next test should be a more daring test in turbulent weather. I believe in pilotless commercial and military aircraft as I myself have a pilot license but recognize the possibility of AI equipped robot flying an aircraft.

Why not make a travel focused version of it, some seats, and windows would do! Pretty sure some remote areas like jungles, deserts, archipelagos, would be interested, in both versions, and further down the road may be a version that land on water ? 1question can it be autonomous? like turkish drones, they take the air and land using Ai.

@Sayitlikeitis-jn6xe the remote area in question would have @ least a runway, yes? So there should be some kind of safety net, it's a risk that is always there. Nepal for example deal with this kind of risks anyway. The (should be) low price, due to lack of personnel, pilots, stewards, should be incentive enough.
