As per reports, the U.S. will place the AIM-174B, an air-to-air missile with the longest range, in the South China Sea. The missile capable of travelling up to 400 kilometres could significantly reduce China's aerial superiority and put any aggressions against Taiwan or the South China Sea at great risk.
