Mainland China Olympic stars arrive in Hong Kong

Sixty-five mainland Chinese athletes from the nation’s Olympic team arrived in Hong Kong at noon on August 29, 2024, for a three-day visit to the city. The Olympic stars are set to showcase their talents and meet the public at demonstrations, and will attend a government banquet and reception.

2024年8月29日中午，来自国家奥运代表团的65名中国内地运动员抵达香港，对香港进行为期三天的访问。奥运明星们将展示他们的才华，与公众见面，并出席政府宴会和招待会。

China’s Olympic athletes travelled from the mainland to Hong Kong for a three-day visit to showcase their talents and meet people in the city. The delegation of 65 athletes and eight coaches involved in 16 sports events arrived on August 29, 2024, and were greeted at the airport by city government officials including Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Kevin Yeung Yun-hung. Hong Kong students wearing blue hats were also on hand to welcome mainland China’s Olympic stars.

中国的奥运健儿们从大陆来到香港进行为期三天的访问，展示他们的才能，并与香港人民见面。来自16项赛事的65名运动员和8名教练组成的代表团于2024年8月29日抵达，并在机场受到了包括文化、体育和旅游局局长杨云鸿在内的市政府官员的欢迎。戴着蓝色帽子的香港学生也在现场迎接中国大陆的奥运明星。
