100 German Gen-Z First Explore China: See More, Experience More, Love More

100名德国Z世代首次探索中国：了解更多，体验更多，热爱更多

On August 26th, the Sino-German College of Applied Sciences at Tongji University launched its summer school program at the Jiading Campus, welcoming 100 German students from the German Federation for International Cooperation of Universities (DHIK). They were the largest team from Germany to visit China since 2020.

8月26日，同济大学中德应用科学学院在嘉定校区启动暑期学校项目，欢迎来自德国大学国际合作联合会（DHIK）的100名德国学生。他们是自2020年以来德国最大的访华代表团。

In addition to academic exchanges, this marks the students' first visit to Shanghai, sparking their excitement to explore the city. Jan Goldscheider, one of the German students said, “I’ll never forget this the city, it’s crazy here.” On their first day, they embarked on a city walk, admiring the iconic skyline at the Bund. They also had a chance to try traditional food at the Yuyuan Garden, and visit the fabric market to learn more about Chinese products. After the half-day tour in Shanghai, one German student said, “I love China, Chinese people are amazing.”

The summer school runs for 4 weeks, allowing these 100 students to continue their academic journey, while immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Shanghai.

学生们首次访问上海，除了学术交流，也激发了他们探索这座城市的兴趣。其中一名德国学生Jan Goldscheider说：“我永远不会忘记这座城市，这里太疯狂了。”

第一天，他们开始在城市漫步，欣赏外滩标志性的天际线。他们还有机会在豫园品尝传统美食，并参观面料市场，了解更多中国产品。在上海进行了半天的旅行后，一位德国学生说：“我爱中国，中国人太棒了。”

暑期学校为期4周，这100名学生继续他们的学术之旅，同时沉浸在上海充满活力的氛围中。

Yes, that should be the way - organise more cultural exchange for young generation between the West and Chinese. The old rich corrupted politicians are implanting the toxc mindset on the young people which will trigger conflicts or war. The decent people in the world needs peace to improve living and compete the skills in all sectors and industries fairly.
