Speaking with The Indian Express, Gita Gopinath, IMF's First Deputy Managing Director said that India can achieve developed country status by focusing on a more skilled workforce, increased women's participation in the labor force with a focus on safety, investment in infrastructure and structural changes, including land and labor reforms.

Because government is not bringing hard reforms, going back on good initiatives like lateral entry, farm laws, labour code etc.

Congress will keep doing degraded caste politics. So no India will not be a developed country by 2047, it will be a miracle if we are an upper middle income country like China, Brazil, Malaysia etc.

However in year 2020 or earlier, after seeing India's GDP per capita is less than 3k and their proclaimations were nowhere close to their targets, India/Indians made another proclaimation again, and this time, India will be a superpower/developed country by year 2047.
