NEW DELHI: Indian Air Force's (IAF) MiG-29 fighter jet crashed near Barmer in Rajasthan on Monday. The crash took place during a routine exercise.

新德里：周一，印度空军一架米格-29战斗机在拉贾斯坦邦巴尔默附近演习时坠毁。

The IAF said that the pilot was safe and that there had been no loss of life or property.

印度空军表示，飞行员平安，没有生命和财产损失。

"During a routine night training mission in Barmer sector, an IAF MiG-29 encountered a critical technical snag, forcing the pilot to eject.

“在巴尔默地区的一次常规夜间训练任务中，印度空军一架米格-29突发技术障碍，迫使飞行员弹射跳伞。”

The pilot is safe and no loss of life or property was reported. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered," the IAF said on X.

印度空军在10日表示：“飞行员平安，没有生命或财产损失的报告。已经下令成立调查组。”

In June, a Sukhoi fighter plane crashed at a farm in Niphad taluka of Nashik district.

今年6月，一架苏霍伊战斗机在纳西克地区尼哈德塔卢卡的一个农场坠毁。

The pilot and the co-pilot ejected well in time and fortunately escaped with only minor injuries. The incident took place around 1.20 pm.

飞行员和副驾驶及时弹射逃生，所幸仅受轻伤。事故发生在下午1点20分左右。

Clearly russian fighters are getting old and are getting exposed. This shows Indian forces are vulnerable infront of the world. 56’’ instead of just chest thum should modernize the defence fast.

As it is the IAF is critically short of 12 squrdons that is about 200 aircrafts. How do we fight a two front war if such situation arises. our accident rates are a cause for concern and in view of the fact that we lost al most 200 pilots and 400 mig ..21 fighter jets to crashes over the last 40 years critical gaps in our fighting / detterent abilities should be filled on war footing.

事实上，印度空军严重缺少，缺少12个中队，也就是缺少大约200架飞机。如果这样，我们怎么打两线战争呢？我们的事故率太高，令人担忧。

Most unfortunate, glad that the Pilot safely ejected out and there was no loss of other lives or properties .,However, isn't it a matter of concernthat such crashes occur at regular intervals, causing huge losses to public money? .,A detailed probe need be carried out.,Are our technical team not fully trained to carry out the inspection to the expected level?
