Spot on. Wng wars is not only depending on their technology. Assuming their best scenario and claims that F35 is far superior can win over J-20 BUT can 1 F35 win against 2-3 or even 4 J-20s. Definitely NO. China can produce and replace their weapons far much faster and much cheaper than the US ever can. Same goes for missiles, ammunitions, warships, rockets, artillery, tanks and basically every weapon used in a war. That is provided the US even has enough money to sustain and maintain their weapons for long term war with China. It is what it is.
At the same time, the US weapons advantage over China in real true reality and wars are unknown. It could be the opposite, or the advantage is very small that it does not matter much.
One clear example is China's space tech. Although China came in very late, It has now become very advanced and very likely even more advanced than the US is now at a fraction of the US spending.
