The US military takes what China claims at face value and I don't blame them. The last thing you want to do is underestimate your enemy and it certainly helps when budget talks come around. But China lies like Russia and we have all see what their wonder weapons were like. Problem is you never know until shit goes down and then it's to late to prepare. So I'm glad that the US takes there word in weapons capabilities.
