Ratan Tata passes away at 86: Tata Sons' complete statement

Ratan Naval Tata, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, passed away at the Breach Candy Hospital following age-related health conditions. He was 86.

It is with a profound sense of loss that we bid farewell to Mr. Ratan Naval Tata, a truly uncommon leader whose immeasurable contributions have shaped not only the Tata Group but also the very fabric of our nation.

For the Tata Group, Mr. Tata was more than a chairperson. To me, he was a mentor, guide and friend. He inspired by example. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation, the Tata Group under his stewardship expanded its global footprint while always remaining true to its moral compass. Mr. Tata's dedication to philanthropy and the development of society has touch d the lives of millions. From education to healthcare, his initiatives have left a deep-rooted mark that will benefit generations to come. Reinforcing all of this work was Mr. Tata's genuine humility in every individual interaction. On behalf of the entire Tata family, I extend our deepest condolences to his loved ones. His legacy will continue to inspire us as we strive to uphold the principles he so passionately championed.

It is indeed a great loss to the Country a man who always stood for values and placed values first than business profits I was fortunate enough to be part of this group for a major part of my career and the professionalism of the group is proved by the fact that the persons at the helm now are qualified independent professionals and not family members but only one submission is that the business domain is so vast that a proper monitoring system for the values needs to be in place by the Group else the persons who are at the helm of individual companies are taking advantage by compromising on values this needs to be done as for me TATA has always meant Truth And Trust Always,N Kumar ACA ACS

True Industrialist who was Bharat Bhagya Vidhata employing millions of Indians and foreigners from almost all countries citizens. Tata almost all profits goes in charity for the betterment of Bharat Mata. Not only Bharatwasi but whole world will miss him.

It is a loss for the whole nation. Death of Ambani or Adani would not affect India's psyche as much as the loss of Ratan Tata today. Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital at Mumbai and IISc Banglore and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research ( TIFR)are his major contributions to the society. RIP Ratan ji

For 70 yrs under corrupt KHANgress , TATAs could not do anything . Tata Group started flourishing only after 2014 . Tata Steel , Tata Motors , TCS ....etc. We lost a great industrialist but we must remember he succeeded only because of Modi Ji.
