On November 7, BYD's sub-brand Yangwang Auto (仰望汽车) announced that its electric supercar, the Yangwang U9, set a new top-speed record for a Chinese car, reaching 391.94 km/h (243 mph) during testing at Germany's Automotive Testing Papenburg (ATP) track. This impressive speed surpasses those of renowned supercars, including the Pagani Huayra R Evo and Bugatti Divo.
11月7日，比亚迪旗下的子品牌仰望汽车宣布，其电动超跑仰望U9，在德国帕彭堡汽车测试中心（ATP）赛道的测试中，创下了中国汽车新的最高速度纪录，达到391.94公里/小时（243英里/小时）。
这一令人印象深刻的速度超过了包括帕加尼Huayra R Evo和布加迪Divo在内的著名超级跑车。
仰望U9搭载了比亚迪独创的易四方技术，四电机峰值扭矩 1680N・m，峰值转速 21000rpm，整车最大马力超 1300ps，零百加速可达2.36秒，0-400米加速9.78秒。
续航方面，仰望U9搭载80kWh电池包，CLTC 续航里程为450km，双枪超充10分钟可从30%充至80%。
此外，仰望U9还配备了云辇-X 智能车身控制系统，可精准控制车身，实现横、纵、垂三个方向的姿态稳定，兼顾操控和舒适。

EVs with the current design choices have issues with top speed. Hence ICE cars beat them flat out in this respect. EVs only have acceleration, but now with the U9, ICE cars are in trouble.
