The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force's stealth fighters, J-35A and J-20, on Friday morning completed their first adaptive training for the upcoming 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in south China's port city of Zhuhai.
第十五届中国国际航空航天展览会即将在珠海举行。周五上午，中国人民解放军空军的隐形战斗机歼-35A和歼-20完成了首次适应性训练，
8日上午，中型隐形多用途战斗机歼-35A亮相珠海机场，首次与公众见面。整个通场时间只有20余秒，几乎是转瞬即逝。
网友甚至对歼-35A的声浪都爱不释手。军事专家张学峰表示，这种声浪大概率与飞机S型进气道设计有关系，S型进气道是大弯度的进气道，遮蔽了发动机的叶片，提高了飞机的隐形能力，因此发出浑厚的声音。
4架歼-20出现在珠海金湾机场上空，并进行了首次场地适应性训练。

The major reason Chinese J-35 is better than the F-35 is because it was developed later. Years ago, as soon as the Chinese knew the F-35 would enter service, the Chinese military began to develop a kind of jet fighter that can beat the F-35. Of course, it would have to be better than the F-35 to beat the exsting competitor.
The weakness of the F-35 is very obvious. It is too slow. The maxmum speed is only Mach 1.6, and the range is too short. To beat the F-35, J-35 has a speed of Mach 2.2, and the combat radius is 1250km.

That's the intention :). The Chinese military motto is "walk your road, so you have no road to walk". They ain't stupid to develop a brand new concept aiming at no specific enemy - they develop weapons to fight the most likely enemy. This is the cheapest way to win.
