走进宝武集团马钢轨交材料科技股份有限公司（以下简称“马钢交材”）的智控中心，宽敞明亮的大厅里，大屏幕上各条生产线的现场画面一目了然。屏幕上不停滚动着的数据，为工作人员远程操控提供了依据，同时这些数据又被储存到数据中心，进行精细分析，为企业制定生产决策提供参考。
马钢交材前身是马钢车轮轮箍厂，建成于上世纪六十年代，是新中国第一个火车车轮轮箍生产基地。1964年7月29日23时10分，马钢成功地轧制出中国第一个直径840毫米辗钢整体车轮。从此，中国交通大动脉车轮烙上了“马钢印”，也被马钢人自豪地称为“争气轮”。
马钢交材技术中心首席工程师鲁松介绍，2022年，马钢高速车轮在2列复兴号高速综合检测车上实现装用；2023年底，成功实现4整列在复兴号动车组上的装车并投入载客运用；截至2024年7月份，整列装用马钢高速车轮的G6410次复兴号长编组动车组率先完成安全载客运行60万公里。
在马钢交材辗钢车轮展厅，一片半人高的高铁车轮格外耀眼。“作为时速400公里的高铁车轮，它曾装配在CR450实验列车上，分别创造了跨海大桥单列时速453公里，相对交会时速891公里，海尾隧道单列时速420公里、相对交会时速840公里的运行佳绩。”马钢交材办公室秘书马昊介绍。
经过60年的发展，马钢交材已成为国内唯一一家具备全谱系轨道交通轮轴产品研发、制造能力的企业，产品广泛应用于轨道交通、工程机械、航空航天、国防军事等多个领域，并出口70多个国家和地区，在全球轨道交通轮轴产业中享有盛誉。

... a few years ago I watched a theater play in MaAnShan, city where MaSteel's headquarter is located. I did not understand a lot, but the story dealt with the development of railway steel wheels. I was amazed hear the word "deguo" (Deutschland) all the time. As I matter of fact MaSteel learnt from German steel manufactures how to forge these train wheels. ThyssenKrupp still has the symbol of one step forged steel rings in it's company logo ... but probably not for long time anymore
