The only mistake in India was they adopted the de ocratic system of the west which is a neo colonialism. This where the Indian politicians would work hand in hand with western counterparts to colonize their own people and countries much like what many African countries having achieved independence but much of their resources still secretly being controlled by foreign big power. Local politicians enjoyed all the benefits in the expanse of their nations.

What is the point of independence when you simply changed to neo colonialism system? Manipulation, control and corruption is rampant in any de ocratic system around the world.

The difference in gdp itself is 19 to 3 trillions with the same population size or even more and geographically it is almost three times smaller. So the disparity itself proves that the catching up game is impossible for India. Instead of trying to compete, make it nice in its own way…
